I love the pictures. I've lived on a rural Mediterranean island, which was fabulous. I've lived in Oklahoma City-nice people, lousy way to live. And I've lived in rural North Cental Florida. It is beautiful here year round. There is just no place like the country for resting and quiet reflection. Oh and lets not forget privacy! One can see city people escaping to the country for vacation, but you rarely see country people escaping to the city for vacation. I do understand some people enjoy the convenience over the peace and quiet. Well, if that's your thing, enjoy!--ST
ST, you know I had a hard time adjusting from city to country life when we moved to B. but I tell you what my parents did the right thing. I love the city---San Francisco is one of my favorites--but honestly I don't ever think I could live there again! The country life is for folks like us isn't it?
Definitely! And I'm glad you're here.--ST
That's just beautiful. Lucky you. I get to look at the old folk's apartments across the street and watch the cars whiz by.
Where are the alligators?
There's no alligators here silly gal! We're not in a swamp LOL!
Cruise down the river and you are very likely to see an alligator, but they don't wander too far from the water. There are some restaurants in the great state of Florida that serve alligator tail. It's actually pretty good. Tastes like chicken. LOL--ST
