Mayor Bloomberg of little faith

Recently in a speech in Philly, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg stated "Although they broke the law by illegally crossing our borders ... our city's economy would be a shell of itself had they not, and it would collapse if they were deported. The same holds true for the nation."

I shudder at the thought that Ameica's national economy is almost completely dependent on illegal aliens. Does this mean that the hard work and contributions by millions of Americans makes no difference?

Bloomberg is implying that the US cannot survive without illegal aliens breaking the law and invading our country. Forget the fact that most illegals are untrained, unskilled and uneducated. Forget that the US already has its fair share of uneducated and unskilled people who are citizens, born and raised here. Is Bloomberg trying to get us to believe that our nation's survival is almost totally dependent on millions more like that from foreign nations?

Bloomberg has little faith in the American people. That or he's talking out his ass which is entirely possible. What kind of message does he send to the hardworking American citizens of this country?

"Sorry Mr. and Mrs. hardworking, ass-busting, law abiding American citizen but all your efforts don't mean a damn, it's the uneducated, illiterate, unskilled illegal aliens who make this country great"

Thanks but no thanks Mr. Bloomberg. You suck and you're a lousy leader.

Bloomberg also said, "Members of the House of Representatives want to control the borders. So do all of us here. But believing that increasing border patrols alone will achieve that goal is either naive and shortsighted or cynical and duplicitous. No wall or army can stop hundreds of thousands of people each year."

Well gee, why would Bloomberg or anyone want to control the borders if our national economy is so totally dependent on the illegals who cross it?

In my opinion one of the best ways to solve the illegal alien crisis is to put an immense amount of pressure on the governments of these countries, especially Mexico. These people come here because their own country offers them no hope for a better life. So it's time that the US put pressure (and actually mean it) on Mexican government to get their shit together. Seal up the borders and apply every sanction you can to get your point across.

  1. Think about it; Bloomberg's argument is that we NEED the illegals because they are cheap. Our economy NEEDS a segment of cheap labor. The cheaper the better, right? If you take this to a logical extension, slavery is the cheapest labor of all.

Looks like our economy would be stronger if we had slaves.

    Bloomberg is an idiot.
