$50,000 an hour for what?

Not much.

Jack Kevorkian spoke one hour last night, mostly about politics and earned $50,000 for it. It would have been a parole violation to discuss details of the assisted suicide, so really what else was there left for him to say?

Sure it's funded by student government but still they couldn't get someone else just as controversial who could say more for less?

Did you go to the Kevorkian lecture? The lines for tickets were miles long. Apparently there were a lot of people who wanted to hear him. The lecture circuit is big business. Maybe we can think of something to talk about and get in on this good deal. ~RQ

I think you can guess where I stand on this issue. Especially since his fee was paid by student fees who don't have a say in where they are being spent!--ST

  3. I'd have a bunch of things I'd love to talk about but who wants to listen? LOL that's why I have the blog ladies!!!

I didn't go, but I did read a partial transcript and watch a video. Seriously I've heard the same stuff from most politicians at one time or another.

    Again, $50,000 grand? OY!
