Ok the Marine Corps did issue a protective order against him but it should have been in place until the Marines investigation was over, or was it over at that time? Also, if it was still ongoing, they were still stationed together. He was still a threat to her.
Lauterbach had accused Laurean of raping her. She had a protective order against Laurean, but it expired September 24, military records show.
In the military protective order, Laurean was forbidden from contacting Lauterbach in any manner, including through a third party, and ordered to stay at least 1,000 feet from her.
The order also showed Lauterbach and Laurean worked in the same unit at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Somebody out there knows where this bastard is....I hope he fries for what he did.
