Oh please...

Because they just can't find anything else to bitch about and because they are so upset that such a strong woman with a set of standards who is by the way actually likeable and more in tune with the common folks than oh say their choice for VP (that being Hillary perhaps?), they're still trying to dig up dirt on Sarah Palin. Oh hell who doesn't have skeletons?

First it was her pregnant teenage daughter, then it was her husband's DUI when he was 21, now it's the non-issue that the luxury jet she spoke about in her speech, in which she put on EBAY, never actually sold on EBAY, although McCain had made a statement in passing that it did.

In reality, the jet was placed on Ebay but did not sell, so they pulled it off Ebay, sold it elsewhere. No, no profit was made off of it but if you factor in the depreciation, it might have just made a profit or at least come out even. What is being overlooked by some is the fact that the Governor sold the jet as part of a mucher larger effort to get rid of corruption and unnecessary spending.

And as to McCain's remarks, who knows why he said it was sold on Ebay? Maybe he figured it was and did make a profit?

The people who are pulling this crap out of a hat must be so desperate.

  1. Desperate? Yes, yes they are. And willing to stoop to any low, stop at nothing, do anything to win.

  2. Try to look on the positive side of things: The left must be employing LOADS of folks sifting through the minutiae of every interview, article and tabloid story to come up with this crap. That's good for the economy...right?

  3. Losers always react that way. they have nothing else going for them so they resort to finger pointing thinking that people will not see there short comings. It has always been that way and it will remain that way. Sad but true.

    One that fails to win:

One that fails consistently, especially a person with bad luck or poor skills:

One that is bad in quality

  5. We watched a really good bio on CNN of McCain... if it replays try to catch it... also, thought you'd find it amusing: Samantha has multiple elephant stuffed animals but no donkeys!

  6. Hi Jess,

I am commenting on something totally different than your post, but I read your profile about your indecision and that's a very very typical Libra trait. I have an amazing friend who is also a Libra, and when we go to lunch the waiter has to be patient ha ha!! What brought me to your blog was your comment about sending a donkey to Samantha on Kate the great's blog which was very cute.
    :-)
